Gourmet glasses for gourmet beers
Beers gently aged in port wine barrels, stouts, champagne beers and historical recipes awoken from deep slumbers – more and more brewers and beer connoisseurs are discovering their affection for gourmet beers. Glass designs inspired by this trend are worthy centrepieces for RASTAL’s well-timed appearance at this year’s Brau Beviale trade fair: Judging by the opinion of RASTAL’s drinking-glass experts, the de luxe gourmet glass will be the bar trend of the year 2012. For whenever a beer is to convey an out-of-the-ordinary and prestigious image, an appropriate, strikingly designed glass is a real must have. RASTAL’s glass design and decoration experts will be putting the crème de la crème of these gourmet glasses into the limelight at Brau Beviale: a multitude of handsome stemmed-glass designs will be showcased to the public: from A as in Ambrosius via B as in Braufactum and K as in Kronenbourg to Z as in Zagorka. And, of course, a wide range of attractive decoration ideas will also be presented.
Special luxury beers also have special requirements when it comes to their tasting glasses. With this in mind, the glass design experts of RASTAL in the Westerwald region once again set out to establish new standards. The fruit of their effort is an unconventional drinking glass that is available in either transparent or opaque design: the goblet-shaped glass “Teku”. A real gem and masterpiece that is sure to become an all-time favourite candidate for de luxe beer enjoyment, all the more since its form and fine finish also make it an ideal tasting glass that will perfectly bring out the flavours of great beers.
